My Name is Kathleen
and this is my Tattoo Story....
It was the Summer of '95 and i was
too young to be getting tattooed, but nobody could tell me anything
then. i went to a pretty shady tattoo shop and got my first tattoo.
As you can imagine it wasn't a good tattoo, but I loved it because I
didn't know any better. I started working the front room of the
shop, cleaning, selling and doing other various duties that were
required. This was the first of many Tattoo Shops I worked in across
the Midwest that I worked in.
Eventually I made it to Tucson in 1997 when I got a job performing
body piercing at the Enchanted Dragon. Before long I was the body
piercing manager and started to get many tattoos and going to tattoo
conventions with the artists that did the majority of tattoos. I
began drawing and showing a strong interest in tattooing and earned
my tattoo apprenticeship by piercing for the company for a period of
five years. I have been tattooing every since. Three years after
learning the art of tattooing. I began to do permanent make-up
tattooing. I liked it so much, that it is all I wanted to do. Being
a member of the National Tattoo Association, I was able to receive
my certification through the Softtap Corporation. In 2005 I was
blessed with the birth of my son Trevor Alexander. Since his birth,
I have exclusively permanent make-up tattooing. I love permanent
make-up, but I feel its important for you to know my history and how
I was given the opportunity to do what I love. I have included some
articles written about my self and the work I have performed. Any
